Mandatory Employment Posters
The State of California requires all employers to post an annual
Employment Poster prominently in their place of business. This poster
has information on safety and heath protection, the current federal and
state minimum wage, whistleblower protection and information on
discrimination and harassment issues in the workplace.
The Chamber sells these posters in English or Spanish at $28.00 for
Chamber members and $44.00 for non-members.

Business Directory
The Chamber periodically produces a full color Business
Directory for its members and the general public. Our most recent
directory won a national award from the American Chamber of Commerce for
Communications Excellence. The directory is free to
members and cost $5.00 to the general public. It is an excellent
resource for members, businesses, and newcomers and is included in
relocation packets that are requested by those considering moving to San
Diego’s East County. Maps of El Cajon & La
Mesa
The Chamber produces separate street maps of both La Mesa and
El Cajon. These detailed maps also have important phone numbers and
other editorial information about the two cities. The
maps are free to members and cost $1.00 to the general public.
Relocation Packets
The Chamber provides relocation packets for people interested
in coming to San Diego’s East County. The packets include the Chamber’s
Business Directory, maps of El Cajon and La Mesa and the San Diego East
Visitor’s Bureau map, demographics of the area, local schools, excerpts
from the San Diego Union-Tribune classified section, a list of websites
and phone numbers, a listing of parks and recreation, information on
local hospitals, a church listing and information specific to senior
citizens. The Packet costs $15.00 and covers the cost
of shipping and handling. |
